Author analyzed an essence of the «new industrialization» concept as of the basic direction for Russian economy’s development, and how the engineering economy in gives this development a possibility to exist. He also shows a number of new ways for the integration between the engineering and economic knowledge that is so important under the described above conditions. The role that technical University plays to meet the challenges of «new industrialization» is also reviewed.

Nizhegorodtsev R. M.   Transition Management in a Knowledge-Intensive Company: the «Ajar» Innovation Strategy


The paper discusses some aspects of transition management strategies for the contemporary knowledge-intensive companies. It’s proved that transitional technological realities for the most of companies coincides to the «ajar» innovation strategy, and its key principles are developed. From that point the SMART objectives conception is critically analyzed, and pertinence of a triple Deming cycle in budget process for public companies is proved.

Sukharev O. S.   Methodological Prospects for Economic Science: «Mainstream» and «Evolutionism» (part 1)


The methodological problems of modern economic knowledge, the adequacy of criticism «mainstream» by evolutionary economists and institutionalists, opportunities neoclassical direction analysis and its contribution to economic science are reviewed in the article. Author examined the question of how can the evolutionary economics, particularly its innovative direction, form the basis of the new «mainstream», introduces the concept of «fashion effect» in science, as a phenomenon, reflecting the intensity of methodological discussions, and formulated the fundamental methodological problem of economics, indicating a common approach to its solution.

Authors analyzed a number of the methodological problems that exist during the valuation of the investment appeal of the production enterprises’ shares. The research is based on using of the value analysis method. Authors also present some ways of developing the «active investor» approach for the portfolio investments.

The continual changing of the conditions inside the organization, as the changing of the environment’s requirements, forces the organization to change its strategic objectives. Achieving these objects is impossible without a flexible human resource management policy. A continuous development of the organization includes the changing of this policy. But the company’s top managers should understand that changing of the policy may cause such dangerous situations, as a wrong choice of the human resource management style, or personnel’s resolute opposition to the changes.

Trenev N. N.   Corporate Culture and the Issues of the Russian Economy’s Strategic Development


Economic development is an important economic problem. The conditions of national economy’s functioning, such as economic sanctions and declining oil prices require the development strategy to be particularly careful with the existing development opportunities. A significant role in the development strategy’s realization plays a corporate culture: values, thinking patterns, routine behavior. Working in a fast-changing, poorly structured environment in order to minimize the opportunity cost we are to use the democratic value system as a basis. Democratic system of values requires a changing of the decision-making processes, and improving of the implementation, motivation and organizational structure.

The article defines the integration process of interconnection and interdependence of innovative economic development of the region from the priority investment for power-efficient projects, defined the innovative potential of the Krasnodar region and the mechanisms for its use in the development of power-efficient programs. Authors also grounded a program of implementing power-efficient projects in an innovative program development of the region, as well as identified structural and functional scheme of its implementation.

Authors reviewed the origins and relevance of the notion of «scientific management» as a form of modern management, which can be implemented as a part of innovative development scenario for the Russian economy. They also show the essence of corporate human capital and the peculiarities of its investment. It’s concluded that some special features of the engineering management as of the specific investment resource for the companies’ development and improving the quality of corporate human capital.

Author analyzed some features of the development of organizational and economic instruments for the managing of buying and selling businesses, mergers and acquisitions processes in nowadays Russia. The ways of solving problems those exist during the formation of the new production systems’ bounds and parameters, which systems appear as a result of mergers and acquisitions are shown. The methods of valuation of the production systems’ potential during the development of mergers and acquisitions processes takes place inside are also presented.

Zinchenko I. V., Zinchenko A. V.   Quality Management and Optimization of the Acceptance Tests for the Electric Locomotive Building: Using the Lean Production Instruments


In the article author substantiate the need for an integrated approach to the quality management for the machine-building plants. As a subject of research they show the processes of acceptance testing of electric locomotives, and the production of LLC «PC „NEVZ“ as an object. They defined some actual problems, and present a number of activities to be developed to decrease the non-conformities level and reduce the time for 3ES5K electric locomotives acceptance testing. The conclusion of the article has been done basing on results of the acceptance testing processes optimization with the use of lean manufacturing.

Kapliev M. E.   Manufacturing Waste Management in the Russian Federation: Nowadays Conditions of the Industrial Sector and Ways to Improve Them


Author analyzed the actual conditions of the manufacturing wastes’ keeping and recycling in the Russian Federation. It’s shown that improving the poor ecological conditions in the country (such as uncontrollable accumulation of the manufacturing wastes) is impossible without carrying out a number of organizational activities and changing a current legislation. Author presents an intensifying program for the fuel-burning power plants’ ash-and-salad wastes recyclers. Author also shows how useful the models and methods of the anthroposphere production theory may be useful for the wastes recycling enterprises’ management solutions.
